Ura-Flex Pigs
Ura-Flex pigs are a solid cast polyurethane pigs manufacturied from
a wide variety of polyurethane compounds. Although they are primarly
sealing pigs brushes can be added to the Ura-Flex I and Ura-Flex II
to make them a cleaning pig.
Red Ura-Flex pigs are manufactured from a 70 durometer polyurethane and is designed for low flow, low volume conditions where the harder durometer materials have difficulty in launching. The Green Ura-Flex pig is manufactured from 80 durometer polyurethane and are used in high pressure systems.
For low flow and low volume natural gas applications or where you have
problems in launching the Type I pig, the Type II is recommended. Its
leading cup assures the pig will seal in the throat of the launcher and
be launched.
Ura-Flex
I
The Ura-Flex I ®, solid cast polyurethane pig with 5 sealing discs
and rear cup is extremely effective in removing liquids from the wet
gas systems and water from product pipelines. The hollow core design
uses line pressure to expand the sealing discs and cup against the
pipe walls to extend its life.
Its sealing characteristics makes it effective for controlling paraffin build-up in crude oil pipelines, product separation, evacuating products from lines, and line displacement.

Ura-Flex II
The Ura-Flex II®, solid cast polyurethane pig with its front cup
design provides maximum sealing in all conditions. The front cup also
provides additional ease in launching and provides greater flexibility
in traveling pipelines with known restrictions.
The four discs and front/rear cup design is extremely effective in removing liquids from wet gas systems and water from product pipelines. The hollow core design uses line pressure to expand the sealing discs and cup against the pipe walls to extend its life.

Ura-Flex III
This bi-directional solid cast pig, with its double hollow core design,
provides for a tight seal at extremely low pressures and will traverse
short radius elbows and full opening valves.
The URAFLEX III is a bi-directional solid cast pig with a hollow core design that provides a tight seal at pressures as low as 15 psi. It will traverse short radius elbows and full opening valves.
Its hollow core design allows the URAFLEX III to traverse out of round elbows without loosing its seal. Its flexible disc design allows it to travel same pipe ID variations with no loss of sealing characteristics.
Its squeegee action means less product contamination. The URAFLEX III also reduces cost by recovering product that normally would be wasted in product change over.
